The “Hardball” is ball leveling head for fixed “locked off camera rigging. It forms the foundation of your vehicle rigging. Set the frame, lock it in and start rigging! 1.5” ball provides ample holding force to give you a secure fixed camera angle. Modular base plate allows for direct mounting to our complete rigging ecosystem to mount to suctions cups, Mitchell mounts, speedrail and rigging rods. Giving you the most options while mounting and rigging.If you need to create some solid, secure and safe “lock-off” fixed camera angles around cars or vehicles the Hardball mount will offer you many ways to go about getting the camera to where the director needs it to go quickly! Mount it traditionally to cheeseplates and hostess trays but also easily mount to speedrail or 5/8″ rods using our CineMilled rigging ecosystem of “Houdini” clamps, Mitchell mounts and suction cups.
